Brevinoda is quite unusual for the Myrmecia genus, as Brevinoda actually have majors, which further adds to their nickname "Giant Bull Ant"

As usual, care is pretty standard in relation to Australian species, hot, arid, lots of food, ect, however for Myrmecia Brevinoda, they do not lay often, a couple times a year tops, so we'd suggest Myrmecia Nigriceps or Nigrocincta if you are looking at getting your first myrmecia, as Brevinoda can get quite tedious in terms of patience.

Keep water in constant supply, feed protein very often when there is larvae present, and keep sugar water available to them at all times, note they cannot use water feeders, so a soaked cotton ball works best.

Substrate is required.
