Myrmecia Fulvipes

Myrmecia Fulvipes, also known as the golden tail bull ant is widely reguarded as the most stunning species an antkeepers can obtain. Their shiny and golden abdomens are an extremely rare sight in terms of ants, paired with their aggressive behaviour makes them a very renowned ant species.

These viscous predators possess an odd ability, their powerful legs enables them to jump short distances which can assist in taking down pray or escaping predators.

Myrmecia fulvipes is found in Australia, typically residing in soil under rocks. They prefer a drier climate with lots of heat.

For their care, Artificial or natural work, substrate is required, aswell as constant heat and water, with consistant feeding of both sugar water and protein.
