Polyrhachis Dives

Polyrhachis Dives are truly a perfect display species, which doesn't cost lots, and isn't difficult in care, they are weavers by nature, meaning they weave nests using substrate, and the silk from their larvae, their docile behaviour greatly contrasts with their large colonies, which grow huge because of their inbreeding!

Large natural or devoted setups work best for colonies at around 100 workers, though a test tube or a standard artificial nest will suit them up until that time.

Though they do have amazing colours, please remember that you will rarely see brood or queens, as they will be hidden away within their intricate nests, even in artificial setups, their silk will make it very difficult to see inside, paired with substrate if becomes almost impossible.

26-27C and 50% Humidity work best for this species, keep water in constant supply.
