Pseudoneoponera Rufipes

Pseudoneoponera Rufipes, spanning from India, down to northern Australia, is one of the only species in the Pseudoneoponera genus with true queens, and not gamergates.

They measure at around 1.2cm, have lots of aggression, and are always looking for food, so if you'd like a unique large ant that not many UK keepers have, Pseudoneoponera Rufipes will be perfect for you.

They often prefer natural setups, though many colonies have done well in artificial, so we are comfortable saying that they can be housed in either of these nests, with the standard exotic care, 70% humidity and 26 degrees is what's good for them, however different colonies prefer slightly different conditions, so experiment a little bit (within reason) and find what works best for you.
